If Avent bottles for something?

I have to get a few more bottles, I usually get born free but are very costly given the rings and nipples always seem to need replacing. Are they good and leeks and simmer and then I? Thanks

I never had much luck with Advent, which seemed a leak ring around a bit. I followed the suggestions in the forums, I saw on the way to prevent it from sinking, but did not work. I tried it when my baby was 1-2 months and the base of the nipple was too big for him to get his mouth around it comfortably. I was lucky and Dr. Brown, but even if you are breastfeeding, not so much how the chest and may cause confusion. Now, my baby only used the Medela bottles that have been through the breast milk and they work fine.

What Avent pump? The manual is probably best hand pump there, but not for daily use (hands and wrists really hurt.) It's fine for occasional use. Advent Isis iQ (alone or in combination) is a good pump, but too expensive. I did, and it works fine, but if again, I bought an Ameda purely yours (or Lansinoh Double Electric – pump exactly the same, name different / packaging). Much cheaper and as good as quality. If you return to work and try to pump every day, is the pump, I recommend.

special cup that's the best?

I began to introduce the cup at lunchtime for my baby, but she does not care to drink it without spout. I thought I should try another. I have been to make the AVENT Magic Cup Suggestions for this that is another we know that is easier for a child to drink? She is 6 months. Thanks!

AVENT I use too, but I had my son Tommee Tippee started with a pacifier that has a similar soft peak. but if you really want continue using the Advent, the supplier of a regular AVENT nipple so I had exchanged my son, he took a little getting used to peak too.

Can someone recommend a good electric breast pump?

I cannot spend over $120.00. I have a Medela Mini Electric and it is 8 years old and going out. It also leaks and sprays milk all over me. I am looking for a good pump. I’m interested in the Avent Isis Uno (electric) and the Medela Swing. Are these any good. I am not interested in manual pumps, only electric. Thanks!
I don’t want to use First years, gerber, playtex, or any of those brands. They are of low quality.

I know how you feel. When I was pregnant, I was going all over and asking for everyone’s opinion on electric pumps. I know how expensive they are and I wasnt willing to spend so much on it. Luckily, my bf’s cousin gave me hers. She just had a baby 2 months before me and only used it once and sterilized it again before she gave it to me. She stopped only because she decided breastfeeding wasnt for her. Anyway, it’s an Evenflo dual electric pump and it’s very good! I think she said she bought it for about $100. I wouldnt know what brand is better because this is the only one i’ve tried. To me, brand isnt important, yet if i was to buy one i would go for the cheapest. It also came with 4 sterile baby bottles which is very helpful in storage. It does what it’s supposed to and quickly, which is just what i wanted.

You can also look on ebay and craigslist.com. My friend bought hers from craigs list for $45 and it was brand new. The owner was selling it because she got two at her baby shower, so it wasnt used at all.

Also, babycenter.com has a page where you can read comments from readers about breast pumps and what’s good and what’s not.
